This client had a minimal package from their architect and hired us for an all-inclusive new build design complete with furnishings. This young sophisticated couple (and their pair of pups) love art, culture and entertaining. In addition to all exterior finishes, we detailed the interiors with many special features including stainless glass, a hidden TV, and paneled interior walls. The client wished to use a clean off-white palette with splashes of collectable art and gorgeous fabrics to accent the interior detailing and the stunning view of the harbor with color.
Taking guidance from the classic European architecture, we were given full reign from the architect to create interior detailing that blended the spaces of this beautiful 2-story Mediterranean. We desired a sophisticated backdrop for the clients’ treasures and created a low elongated fireplace mantel to achieve a great TV watching height. We designed stunning groin vaults with pilasters above a family heirloom pool table. Paneled walls and columns scale a large foyer and we designed paneling to frame a bronze sculpture. The crown molding has various personalities depending on the room. We designed the front doors to accent the interior doors, but incorporated the split arched design indicative of the era.
